Art in the Park Weekend: August 23-24

Submit (3) three photographic samples (via e-mail attachment; .jpg files) of what you will display and make available for sale. Size files to approximately 5x7 (360 x500 pixels) at 72 dpi. We will contract you regarding acceptance.

ART DISPLAYED must be 50% original: print & photo reproduction not to exceed 50%. NO manufactured or mass-produced items. Must be original, quality art or craft.

Vendor must provide display booth, tables draped with cloths and neat in appearance. Display/booth area must be left clean. Be prepared with change for cash sales as banking facility will be closed.

All vendors must fill out form ST-124 (for Idaho State Sales Tax) and must collect an additional 2-percent tax for the City of Lava Hot Springs.

LODGING: Please make lodging reservations early. There will be no overnight camping allowed in the park. We will provide complimentary refreshments both Saturday and Sunday as well as a pass to our incredible hot springs.

SECURITY: While security will be provided both Friday & Saturday nights, and the park closed after dark with no overnight camping allowed, the Art in the Park Committee, City of Lava Hot Springs, and Lava Chamber of Commerce are NOT responsible for any loss and/or damage.

CANCELLATIONS: 100% refund on or prior to July 18th. 50% refund prior to August 8th. No refund after August 8th registration deadline.

Please join us for the 4th annual festival of fine arts and masterful crafts on the banks of the Portneuf River where it tumbles past the world famous healing waters of Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. Display and sell your creations to the public during the weekend of August 23-24, 2008.

EVENT TIMES:
Saturday, August 22nd from 10am to 6pm;
Sunday, August 23rd from 10am to 3pm.

SET-UP TIMES:
Friday, August 21st from 4pm until dark.
Saturday until 9:30am.
[ALL vehicles and trailers must be removed from the park by 10am Saturday.]
